BUSY BEES

‍We all need organisation of our sensory input to help us interpret the world, regulate our bodies and access our thinking brain. A great way for busy bodies and busy brains to access this is through “heavy work” which is a universal and powerful regulator. Which is what Busy Bees is all about! The group supports regulation through play, movement and social engagement.

While your child is participating in this group we offer an educational session with one of our OT’s on regulation.

Costings: $95 per session.

Assessment: An initial assessment will need to be conducted prior to class commencement.

Structure: Busy Bees participate in a semi structured play environment in our paediatric gym; with safe opportunities for crashing, climbing, jumping, pulling and pushing with peers. The group is supported by multiple OT’s with sensory integration expertise.

Days/Times: 3 x 1hr sessions during the week of each school holiday.
